Photography & web 2.0 and this weekend’s PhotoCamp Birmingham
Got My Mojo Working website has moved! I am consolidating a few of my blogs/websites and have decided to utilize the ones I am actually paying for. WordPress.com is great, free and has been hosting the blog here but now it has moved on.
This will allow me to have greater control over the user interface, which I have cleaned up, therefore making it clean, crisp and affording me more opportunities.
You can now watch me get personal over at Go Mojo. The link for your bookmarks is http://www.gomojo.info. The RSS feed to subscribe to is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/mojoworkin. Once on the site, you can even subscribe to have my content delivered to your email inbox!
Yes, Go Mojo was originally my outdoor & travel website and I’ll still post articles on those topics there, but everything else will be mixed in too.
Here’s another opportunity to share your passions. Want free advertising? Shoot me an email to mojodenbow AT gmail.com with “Me, Me, Me” in the subject line. Add your event/project/company name, what you do there, the service it provides, company home page or blog. Your spot may be chosen at random to get some free ad space on this site.
Got a project you are working on that needs publicity? Add it to the comments of this article or shoot me an email.
Do you write/maintain a blog that needs a little link love? Gimme.
Festival coming soon? Shoot me the details and we’ll promote it.
Shameless plugs are welcome.
Have something to say about a product or service mentioned in previous articles? Why not express your opinion in the comments so others can join in on the discussion? Who knows, you may just start a conversation that affects change.
Let’s turn my monologue into a dialogue.
Are you still reading this? Get over to the new site now!
See you there!

My poor brain needs more partitions and defragged. I’m exhausted. The new job is fantastic, the boss is a great lady who takes a genuine interest in her new hires and wants us to grow. For the past month, I have learned so much about Oracle, SQL, UNIX, and the company’s proprietary software. The problem? I have come home mentally beat every night. I’m not complaining at all, just observing. But I look forward to the day when I can do the job & still have some brain bandwidth.
PhotoCamp is coming up in 2 weeks (Sat. April 21) and I’ll be working with the rest of the organizers to make sure it will be a success. Please attend!
IPSA’s April meeting is today!
Dimitri Glazkov, Estrada
Jeff Keeton, UAB Web Communications
Thursday, April 5, 2007, 11:30am - 1pm
(Networking 11:30-noon; Program noon - 1pm)
St. Vincents’ Bruno Conference Center - Auditorium
On top of this, I’m trying to learn how to be a father. Baby Denbow is still 5 months away and I’ll need all of that time. I’m also working on doing everything I can to support WonderWife with anything she needs/wants during this process. So far, she has been, well, wonderful.
Because it is 12:24 on a work night, I’m typing away at my keyboard & scrambling whatever brain matter I have left. Time to defrag my brain and then shut down.

Bring Your Own Big Wheel is a downhill race on San Francisco’s Lombard Street featuring, you guessed it, children’s rides. Do you think Birmingham has a few hills to try this on? Winning isn’t the goal here- survival is! Any takers?
I usually ignore these self-serving, special interest days and months. Today, I came across this on the interwebs, a National PBJ Day! Now this is something I can support!
Ever since I was a little lad, I’d devour the sticky and sweet concoction wrapped in bread. They got me through college. They please me to this day. I lamented when Peter Pan was recalled because Jif isn’t cutting it.
Join with me as we celebrate PBJ day.
Next month is National BBQ Yak Porridge Month*, yay!
* this is a fib
Beer Can Chicken, originally uploaded by Mojo Denbow’s Photo Studio.
This bird ended up being super moist & tender that the wings, legs fell off just by lifting the torso off of the beer can. Amazingly delicious too!
Lets face it, The Mojo Network wouldn’t be around if it wasn’t for your readership and participation, I know this and it is encouraging. Heck, it inspires me to keep it up. I won’t quit my day job over it because lets face it, this is one of many hobbies for this enthusiast. So, enough about me for now. What about you?
